Ce projet a été initié par Karine Bey (photographe) et Cherry Lyly Darling (danseuse Burlesque) face à la censure anarchique de Facebook sur les profils; que ceux-ci soient privés ou non, les photos dénudées ou non, etc.
Nous sommes une vingtaine de filles : artistes, performeuses, strip-teaseuses, danseuses ,Burlesque ou pas, à y avoir participé.
Il s’agit de dyptiques: une photo habillée et l’autre (plus ou moins) dévêtue.
Ma photo, elle, a tenu exactement : 7 heures. Elle a été postée sur mon profil le 25 mai à 15h40 et Facebook l'a "retirée" à 22h40: http://flic.kr/p/9LVK1g

Je reprendrais ici ce que j’ai répondu, face aux réactions que ce post à entrainé, sur sa page :
« C'est l'exemple parfait de ce que le projet veut dénoncer. Chaque personne du réseau donne son avis, avec plus ou moins de délicatesse, jusqu'à se laisser tenter par le fameux « bouton rouge": "Dénoncer cette photo"...
Un film intéressant: "I... comme Icare"; où comment dans un environnement sécurisé, sous couvert d'anonymat, on peut aisément mettre de côté sa conscience (à condition d'en avoir une).D'une certaine manière Facebook reproduit à grande échelle l'expérience de Milgram. »
Mais comme dirait Jack Lang, ancien Ministre de la Culture au sujet d'une certaine histoire : « Il n'y a pas mort d'homme » ;)

This project was initiated by Karine Bey (photographer) and Cherry Lyly Darling (Burlesque Dancer) against the anarchic censorship on Facebook profiles, whether they are private or not, “naked” pictures or not, etc...
We are about twenty girls: artists, performers, strip-teasers, Burlesque dancers (or not) that have participated.
These are diptychs: one picture dressed and the other (more or less) undressed.
My photo “lasted” exactly: 7 hours; It was posted on my profile on May 25 at 3:40PM and Facebook censored it at 10:40PM: http://flic.kr/p/9LVK1g

The link above is the perfect example of what the project wants to denounce (It's in French though) but basically this is what I said as I had to answer to the (surprising) debate:
"Each person gives its point of view, with varying degrees of delicacy, until being tempted by pushing the famous Red Button: "Report this photo"...
An interesting movie (again in French, sorry! :): "I... comme Icare", how in a secure environment, under the condition of anonymity, one can easily put aside his conscience (assuming you have one).
Somehow, Facebook widely replicated the Milgram experiment."
Anyhow, there must be the times probably?
Referring to a certain main sex affair about D.S.K. (socialist politician and the leading candidate to oppose President Nicolas Sarkozy in next year’s election) our former Culture Minister Jack Lang said: “after all, no Man died” ;)
